Updates & a dose of media criticism of the AJC

This episode features tracks “Vacation” by Night Cleaner and “Tension” by Sheperds, both local artists who have consented to having their tracks played in Mainline coverage.

hey hello,

felt some energy flowing today so I hopped behind the mic to dive into the AJC’s latest article regarding Cop City and the opposition. not sure how they’re getting away without disclosing their financial connection to the facility, but they did it once again plus some other points of concerns.

I talk about this through the lens of media criticism as well as media reparations. to learn more about the media reparations vision and movement as laid out by media 2070, go here.

I continue to ask myself the question, what would media reparations in atlanta look like? what would it look like to demand reparations from the AJC?

this audio also contains some housecleaning/mainline updates at the top – we will continue to share content on the patreon, but our free content is on a pause until at least April 15 while we use all our resources to develop a long-term plan for funding and sustainability of our newsroom, staff, and coverage.

thanks to you all for being here because your monthly contributions go a long way in making this outlet possible, past, present, and future.

and, for those interested, I’m now open for readings/sessions for tarot, astrology, and energy work. to view the offerings and book a session, go here – for sliding scale options (please view the offerings through the link first to consider what you’d be interested in), please email me at voidrealityreadings@gmail.com and let me know your needs and current situation.
